Who invented A.T.M Machine?

A.T.M Machine

The first mechanical cash dispenser, which is known as ATM machine was invented by Luther George Simjian. It was first  installed in New York City in 1939 by Luther. Here are some other facts about
ATM!

  •  Mr. Luther, inventor, called it " Hole-in-the- wall machine"
  • No one used that machine except few gamblers and prostitutes and it disappeared after 6 months.
  • The real breakthrough emerge in 1969 by another inventor named Donald C. Wetzel who invented automated Teller Machine for a company called Docutel, which was installed at Chemical Bank in NY.
  • 4 Years later at least there were 2000 A.T.M installed in the U.S.,  and NOW, today there are more than 400,000
  • It costs $30K to make and installed in different business areas

*I think I can conclude the fact that Mr. Luther George should receive huge credit for introducing the whole A.T.M ideas in human lives. However, Luther's vision probably came into absolute reality by Donald C. Wetzel*

The Origination of DVD

I remember when I watched a movie using DVD disk I was fascinated! Because of it’s capability of delivering clear and sharp picture. Experience was way better than VHS tape. I think DVD disk is of the coolest inventions. So today I would like to share something about DVD. Hope you like it and as I always believe know facts are amazing!

DVD
  • A DVD is a round, flat disc that stores information. DVD’s mainly used to hold movies. But computer programs and other information may also be stored on a DVD.A DVD is the same size as a compact disc (CD). Both are about 4 3/4 inches (12 centimeters) across. But a DVD can store much more information than cab a CD. A DVD is read by a special disk drive or player+

When and where it become available?
  • The first DVD players and discs were available in November 1996 in Japan, March 1997 in the United States, 1998 in Europe and in 1999 in Australia*. Also, DVD was developed by Sony, Toshiba and Panasonic

World's First Commercial Movie!

  • In 1895, the world's first commer movie screening takes place at the Grand Cafe In Paris.

Root of the first movie technology

  • The film was made by Louise and Auguste Lumiere, two French brothers whol developed a camera-projector called the Cinematographe. The Lumiere brothers unveiled their invention to the public in March 1895 with a brief film showing workers leaving the Lumiere factory

  • Movie technology has its roots in the early 1830s, when joseph Plateau of Belgium and Simon Stampfer of Austria simultaneously developed a device called phenakistoscope, which incorporated a spinning disc with slots through which a series of drawings could be viewed, creating the effect of a single image.

In America

  • The Lumieres opened theaters (known as cinemas) in 1896 to show their work and sent crews of cameramen around the world to screen films and shoot new material. In America, the film industry quickly took off. In 1896, vitascope Hall, believed to be the first theater in the U.S. devoted to showing movies, opened in New Orleans in 1909, the New Times published its first film review (of D.W. Griffith’s “Pippa Passes”0, in 1911 the first Hollywood film studio opened in 1914,Charlie Chaplin made his big-screen debut.
